About BLSP
Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad is non-profit organization registered under Indian Trust Act on 3rd March, 2000 in Delhi with a unique concept of social transformation in Rural & Tribal Bharat by spreading education.
We are inspired by the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, principles of social harmony and equality of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and village development model of Mahatma Gandhi. Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad is doing the virtuous work of burning the light of knowledge through Ekal Vidyalaya.
Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad (BLSP) aims to unlock the hidden potential of Rural and Tribal India which has waited for long to emerge and flourish and to foster their social and economic empowerment as a catalyst for India’s progress. BLSP is committed for bringing them in to the main stream of national progress, bridging the Gap and minimize the disparity between urban & rural society and integrating marginalized communities into the national development narrative.

EKAL VIDYALAYA
One village, one school, one teacher.
One school has 20 to 25 students (age of 4 to 10 years).
School is operating in village chaupal, under tree, in temple for 2-3 hours.
The syllabus includes awareness on health, general cleanliness, sanitary conditions, hygiene, sustainable development, empowerment for self-reliance besides Basic Education through Non-formal method .
Non-formal method of imparting education includes playing, physical training, storytelling, songs, dance, music, yoga and games.
The schools are looked after by the Gram Samiti.
