Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad is running Ekal Vidyalaya i.e. One village, one school, one teacher. The salient features of Ekal Vidyalaya are as under:

1. One school has 25 to 30 students (age of 4 to 10 years).
2. School is operating in village chaupal, under tree, in temple for 2-3 hours.
3. The syllabus includes awareness on health, general cleanliness, sanitary conditions, hygiene, sustainable development, empowerment for self-reliance besides Basic Education through Non-formal method.
4. Non-formal method of imparting education includes playing, physical training, storytelling, songs, dance, music, yoga and games.
5. The schools are looked after by the Gram Samiti.
