About Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad
Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad is non-profit organization registered under Indian Trust Act on 3rd March, 2000 in Delhi with a unique concept of social transformation in Rural & Tribal Bharat by spreading education.
Ekal Vidyalaya is inspired by the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, principles of social harmony and equality of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and village development model of Mahatma Gandhi. Ekal Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad is doing the virtuous work of burning the light of knowledge through Ekal Vidyalaya.
Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad (BLSP) aims to unlock the hidden potential of Rural and Tribal India which has waited for long to emerge and flourish and to foster their social and economic empowerment as a catalyst for India’s progress. BLSP is committed for bringing them in to the main stream of national progress, bridging the Gap and minimize the disparity between urban & rural society and integrating marginalised communities into the national development narrative.
As a non-profit organisation, BLSP is committed to uplifting the downtrodden segments of Indian society, facilitating their inclusion and contribution to the country’s advancement.
BLSP has spread Ekal’s reach in Northern India, operating around 21,000 schools in Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu. BLSP’s direct involvement includes monitoring, resource management, quality control, and volunteer training. Chapters in various cities conduct fundraising, volunteer cultivation, and administrative support, fostering collaboration with local communities.

Empowerment of crores of Tribals and Rural brethren of Bharat, by making them socially strong, educationally aware, economically vibrant and self-reliant so that with their involvement Mother Bharat reaches the pinnacle of glory.
Mission
- To provide non-formal primary education through cost effective One Teacher school (O.T.S.) i.e. Ekal Vidyalaya.
- To promote health-care by health-care education and first aid under Arogya Yojna.
- To achieve economic development by educating and training for small vocations and imparting training for Zero Cost Natural Farming with the cheapest and most effective manure prepared with cow dung and pesticide with cow urine.
- Empower education by creating awareness about their rights, achieving their dues out of government projects with the help of Right to Information Act, enabling them to become self-reliant and live with self-respect.
- Cultural and spiritual awareness with Sanskar education.
- Achievement of rural urban co-ordination by Vanyatras (Visit to Ekal Vidyalaya) undertaken by urban citizens in the tribal villages.

Our Goals
Shikshit Gaon
Every child must get basic education. They further literate their elders. No villager uses thumb impression now.
Swastha Gaon
All the villagers are taught preventive healthcare and hygiene. Children are given vaccination. Trained Arogya Sevika serves in the village.
Swawlambi Gaon
The motto is “Har Hath ko Kam, Har Khet ko Pani”. Encouraging organic farming to provide chemical free food and profitable farming. Reducing migration to cities.
Jagruk Gaon
Motto is “Jagruk Matdata – Shikshit Gaon”. Functional and effective Gram Sabha practice duties and avail privileges of government welfare schemes.
Nasha Mukt Gaon
Liquor free villages. No Ganjha and Charas to be allowed in the village. Planting Tulsi as symbol of liquor free house.
Samras Gaon
Social harmony among village community. Eradication of untouchability. Promoting community participation and partnership.
